| Join us for our inaugural meeting of the Swan Wine Club on Wednesday, 1st Sept at 7pm. We’ve arranged a talk by resplendent wine expert Ken Forester, famous South African wine maker from Great Western Wine in Bath. Regular newsletter readers will know that Great Western now supply the wines to The Swan.
Ken Forrester represents the true pioneering spirit of the post-apartheid South African wine industry. Drawing on the examples of top Loire whites, he has used his uniquely placed Chenin vines to maximum effect and has single-handedly led a Chenin Blanc quality revolution. As a result these wines have achieved iconic status worldwide. Stop Press: 20% off any of Ken’s wines purchased on the night. |

What a fun evening we had. All the tradition of Burns night, but without too much formality. Guests were welcomed with a ‘wee dram’ from a choice of 6 whiskys: 3 blended – 3 malt. |

Fund Raising Quiz - In Aid Of Salisbury’s Stars Appeal |

A second pub quiz at the Swan Inn on Tuesday night at Stoford brought the total raised from two quiz nights in the last four months to £1000 for the Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal. |
